I’m sure it had something to do with them only making a 4k stream available with commercial breaks in, which the BBC doesn’t take for obvious reasons. All the stuff we see when other countries get ads isn’t available in 4k, iirc #eurovision
I ask this every year, but are we getting #eurovision in #4k #uhd #hdr #2160p this year? The #EBU produces it in 4k but the #BBC never takes that stream for reasons I once knew but no longer recall #eurovision2024
