Aha, so this is deliberate... Great. So the only officially supported Plex device that does work with HW transcoding is #BeeStationPlus. Than I guess it was the right decision to look for another Plex compute server outside their portfolio.
Already 4 months since the #Synology 2025 models are out and #Plex hardware transcoding still doesn't work on the J4125 models (#DS425+ and #DS225+). The 5.10 #linux kernel changes from Synology and the missing support to utilize the #Quick
