How the fuck is it possible that #prtg from #paessler needs domain admin permissions to function properly? :thinking: #infosec
From a guts feel #Paessler not only want to annoy customers by increasing prices but also by replacing the certificates of #prtg every couple of versions causing issues updating. That's not the way to go for a good reputation...
Looks like #paessler messed up their #prtg installer with the recent 26.1 release. New installation fails due to license issues. The older version installs just fine. Also upgrading works as expected.
