Rock Castle Gorge is one of my favorite overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Many people hike the 10.5 mile loop through here and I've heard it's a strenuous trail that will take most of the day. But the views are fantastic! Roc
A hiker passed me at the Rock Castle Gorge overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. He said it was the first time he'd been so far south on the Parkway. The Appalachian Trail is a beautiful place to hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
