There is nothing not to like about Alaska’s "Tiana’s Bayou Adventure" livery dropping into Santa Barbara today — nothing at all. My first opportunity to see it in person, so of course I dropped everything at work and headed for the airport.
Santa Barbara Airport closed a little after 1 AM on Christmas due to flooding, and reopened at 9:15 AM. This was the recovery operation around 7 AM (looking down runway 7)—wet pavement, early light, and airport workers putting in long hours
