Things I've learned during the first day with #anytone AT-D878UV II Plus V2: 1. Radio arrives with pre-configured region and limited frequency ranges. For example, "Amateur Europe" region allows listening PMR466 feequencies but prevents TX.
Update up top: firmware upgrade is only possible on Windows; no Wine. So if anyone has the means to upgrade and program an #anytone D878 UV II at #39c3, please let me know.
