By accessing or using Geo Portal (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use paid features, additional terms shown at checkout (including from payment providers) may also apply. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Geo Portal provides tools to create, discover, and interact with location-based “portals” on a map, together with related features such as discovery and marketplace listings, messaging, voice or video sessions, creator and partner monetization, optional vault or subscription content, Web3-related naming or linking where offered, and desktop or extension experiences that connect to the platform.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features; we will try to give reasonable notice for material changes where practical. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (maps, payments, real-time communication); outages or changes by those providers may affect availability.
You must meet the minimum age and legal capacity required in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for safeguarding your password and devices. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share account credentials in a way that circumvents security or billing.
You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service—consistent with your visibility settings (for example public portals vs. subscriber-only vault material).
You represent that you have the rights to your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. For adult-oriented or sensitive content, you are solely responsible for lawful distribution, labeling, and age-gating in line with applicable rules and any tools we provide.
You agree not to:
We may investigate and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create risk, subject to applicable law.
Map data and coordinates are provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee accuracy of third-party maps, routing, or geocoding. You are responsible for how you rely on location information in the real world (for example safety, property access, or compliance with local regulations when promoting a place).
Certain features (for example vault access, subscriptions, paid calls, or marketplace transactions) require payment. Prices, fees, and taxes are shown at purchase. Payments are processed by our payment partners (such as Stripe); their terms and privacy notices apply to payment processing.
Creator revenue shares, partner commissions, and platform fees (including card-network and platform costs) may be disclosed at checkout or in creator/partner documentation. Refund and cancellation rules depend on the product and what we display at purchase—statutory consumer rights may apply in your region.
If you earn income through the Service, you may need to complete identity or tax onboarding with our payment partners, comply with sanctions and anti-fraud checks, and meet your own tax and legal obligations. You must provide payout and contact details that are accurate and keep them updated.
The Service may link to or embed third-party sites, tokens, or APIs. We are not responsible for third-party terms, content, or failures. Web3 or blockchain interactions may be irreversible; you bear risks of keys, networks, and smart contracts outside our control.
The Service’s branding, software, and design elements are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license to your content above, we do not grant you rights to our trademarks or code. You may not copy or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, risk, or legal requirement. Provisions that by nature should survive (for example liability limits, indemnities, dispute provisions) will survive termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA.
You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, directors, and employees against third-party claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms—except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of your deployment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction may have exclusive venue; if you are a consumer, you may have non-waivable rights in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For questions about these Terms, contact the operator of this Geo Portal deployment.
