Once at the terminus at #Aylsham on the #BVR we made our way to the caféteria where a posh #MothersDay tea was waiting to be served. Unfortunately, I was so busy eating that I forgot to take a picture of the #food when it arrived.
After #Colitishall you cross the #RiverBure at #Buxton and then pass through a #tunnel just outside #Aylsham.
The #BVR is a 15" gauge line and we started out from #Wroxham, within the #Broads #NationalPark headed for #Aylsham.
What “aylsham” means
WikipediaAylsham is a historic market town and civil parish in north Norfolk, England. It lies on the river Bure, nearly 9 mi (14 km) north of Norwich. The town is close to Blickling, Felbrigg, Mannington and Wolterton Halls, which are popular tourist attractions. The parish had a population of 7,568 at the 2021 census. For local government, the parish is in the Broadland district.
