What “babyboom” means
WikipediaA baby boom is a period marked by a significant increase of births. This demographic phenomenon is usually an ascribed characteristic within the population of a specific nation or culture. Baby booms are caused by various fertility factors. The best-known baby boom occurred in the mid-twentieth century, sometimes considered to have started in the aftermath of World War II, from the late 1940s to the early 1960s. People born during this period are often called baby boomers.
