What “colistin” means
WikipediaColistin, also known as polymyxin E, is an antibiotic medication used as a last-resort treatment for multidrug-resistant Gram-negative infections including pneumonia. These may involve bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP), or Acinetobacter.
