I took this photograph from the moving coach on the way down to Sligachan yesterday. Sligachan (Scottish Gaelic: Sligeachan) is a small settlement on Skye, It is close to the Cuillin mountains and provides a good viewpoint for seeing them.

Sometimes the light hereabouts takes my breath away. I was out walking on a road with no traffic - it goes across the moor and on to some forestry land - and no one else around. No signs of human habitation. An eternal scene. Been like this

WikipediaThe Cuillin is a range of mostly jagged rocky mountains on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The main Cuillin ridge is also called the Black Cuillin to distinguish it from the Red Cuillin, which lie to the east of Glen Sligachan.
