What “displaylink” means
WikipediaDisplayLink Corp. was a semiconductor and software technology company. It specialized in developing DisplayLink USB graphics technology. This technology enables connections between computers and displays via USB, Ethernet, and WiFi. Additionally, it supports the connection of multiple displays to a single computer. DisplayLink products are currently developed by Synaptics, Inc., who acquired DisplayLink Corp. in 2020.
