Figured out the #gnome issue and why a live works fine, and an install goes haywire. Pipewire. It’s not default in Slackware and apparently GDM won’t start without pipewire running these days. NO ONE KNOWS THE PAIN THIS HAS CAUSED!! #enable
@elsua54 I see us more as #individuals - all "stuck in our ways" a bit. But it's ok! Individually we plug a few together and we enable more, even if a person does only 1 thing alone. e.g. Mastodon gives a few people a "testing" badge & chan
