What “ergodic” means
Wiktionary · Wikipediaergodic
- adjectiveOf or relating to certain systems that, given enough time, will eventually return to previously experienced state.
In mathematics, especially in ergodic theory, ergodicity is a way of saying that a dynamical system behaves as one indivisible statistical system, rather than being composed of statistically distinguishable subsystems. More precisely, a measure-preserving dynamical system is ergodic if every invariant measurable set has either measure zero or full measure. Equivalently, the system cannot be decomposed, up to sets of measure zero, into two smaller invariant parts of positive measure.

every network with a public tag surfaceFollow #ergodic straight to each platform’s own tag page. Where a platform publishes open data we measure it above; the rest lock their numbers behind paid APIs, so we link rather than guess.
Every number above is measured from a named public API at the shown fetch time. Nothing is estimated or extrapolated. Platforms that lock their data behind paid APIs are not shown. Agents: the same numbers, as JSON, at /api/hashtags/ergodic
