What “foilies” means

Wikipedia

"Chasing the dragon" (CTD), or "foily" in Australian English, is the act of inhaling the vapor of a powdered psychoactive drug off a heated sheet of aluminium foil. The moving vapor is chased after with a tube through which the user inhales. The "chasing" occurs as the user gingerly keeps the liquid moving to keep it from overheating and burning up too quickly, on a heat-conducting material such as aluminium foil.

#foilies across platforms

every network with a public tag surface

Follow #foilies straight to each platform’s own tag page. Where a platform publishes open data we measure it above; the rest lock their numbers behind paid APIs, so we link rather than guess.

Every number above is measured from a named public API at the shown fetch time. Nothing is estimated or extrapolated. Platforms that lock their data behind paid APIs are not shown. Agents: the same numbers, as JSON, at /api/hashtags/foilies
