Isn't this essentially the reverse of digging up coal and burning it? Wouldn't it be more efficient to cut out the middleman by instead, converting electricity generation to solar away from coal? My initial reaction is this is a shell game

What “graphyte” means
WikipediaGraphyte is a company which sequesters carbon, initially for American Airlines. It was founded and backed by Bill Gates in 2023.
