What “grizinkalns” means
WikipediaGrīziņkalns is a neighbourhood in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral, Daugava Stadium and the Staburadze confectionery factory are located in the area, and it is dominated by late 19th to early 20th century working class houses. Grīziņkalns is split between the city's Latgale Suburb and its Central District, with Aleksandra Čaka iela and the Jorģis Zemitāns Bridge serving as the dividing line.
