What “intraproboscis” means
WikipediaIntraproboscis is a genus of Acanthocephala containing a single known species, Intraproboscis sanghae. Found in central Africa, it infests the black-bellied pangolin and the tree pangolin, which are both threatened with extinction. The genus is described from several females and one incomplete male. Female worms reach up to 180 millimetres (7.1 in) long and 2 millimetres (0.079 in) wide; males seem to be smaller in all dimensions. The body consists of a long, narrow trunk and a tubular proboscis
