The Jeks are a small Northeast Caucasian ethnic group indigenous to northern Azerbaijan. They are one of the Shahdagh peoples, a group of historically distinct mountain communities of the eastern Greater Caucasus that also includes the Kryts, Budukhs, and Khinalugs.
