What “kukatpally” means
WikipediaKukatpally is a suburb in northwestern Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana. It is the headquarters of Balanagar Prashu Singh mandal in the Malkajgiri revenue division of the Medchal–Malkajgiri district. Kukatpally was a municipality before its merger into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). It is now the headquarters of the north zone of the GHMC. It is connected by road to the nearby information technology hub of HITEC City.
