  • I have owned a #Librem5 for almost 5 years. Every year it has gotten a little bit better in terms of funtionality. It is now at the level of really quite excellent. Not perfect, but a real, useable, fun, freedom-respecting device. #linuxmob

  • @paulk @janvlug I used #PostmarketOS for about two years. I switched back to @Purism and #PureOS about three months ago with the update to Crimson. I miss PostMarketOS a bit as it has newer software with #Phosh and @Gnome but PureOS is more

Librem is a line of computers manufactured by Purism, SPC featuring free (libre) software. The laptop line is designed to protect privacy and freedom by omitting non-free (proprietary) software in their operating system and kernel, avoiding the Intel Active Management Technology, and gradually freeing and securing firmware. Librem laptops feature hardware kill switches for the microphone, webcam, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
