What “longscale” means

Wikipedia

The long and short scales are two powers-of-ten number-naming systems that are consistent with each other for smaller numbers, but are distinct for larger numbers. Much of the world has adopted either the short or long scale. Countries using the long scale include most countries in continental Europe and most that are French-speaking, German-speaking and Spanish-speaking. Use of the short scale is found in most English-speaking and Arabic-speaking countries, as well as most Eurasian Post-Soviet

#longscale across platforms

every network with a public tag surface

Follow #longscale straight to each platform’s own tag page. Where a platform publishes open data we measure it above; the rest lock their numbers behind paid APIs, so we link rather than guess.

Every number above is measured from a named public API at the shown fetch time. Nothing is estimated or extrapolated. Platforms that lock their data behind paid APIs are not shown. Agents: the same numbers, as JSON, at /api/hashtags/longscale
