What “matterport” means
WikipediaMatterport LLC is an American 3D spatial mapping company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. It is a subsidiary of CoStar Group. The company was founded in 2011 as a private startup and merged with a special-purpose acquisition company in 2021 to begin public trading on the Nasdaq, before being acquired by CoStar in 2025. As of May 2025, its CEO is R.J. Pittman.
