My HP N54L MicroServer with TrueNAS is about 14 years old. As are the HDDs in it. It'll happily do ~90 MB/sec transfers on my Gigabit network as much as I ask it to. Pretty awesome if you think about it. #TrueNAS #MicroServer

What “microserver” means
WikipediaA microserver is a server-class computer which is based on a system on a chip (SoC). The goal is to integrate all of the server motherboard functions onto a single microchip, except DRAM, boot FLASH and power circuits. Thus, the main chip contains more than only compute cores, caches, memory interfaces and PCI controllers.
