It is located 20 miles (32.2 km) east of Chester, 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Winsford, 5 miles (8.0 km) south-east of Northwich and 5 miles (8.0 km) north-west of Sandbach. The population of the parish at the 2021 census was 14,421.
