what i would do differently if i worked on a #mapping client for #mud? drop those full color graphics to trash bin from get go, then: - draw basic hand-drawn-style map in charcoal greys only; - only auto draw visible landmarks: roads, river
other thing: playing #mume today using the suggested web client or #mmapper is NOT at all like playing muds in the olden days. trust me, i've played like ~ 20 years ago. today it seems like cheating — hell, it is cheating! you get a map (!)
