Does anybody know if there are "narcan trainers" available? Preferably for free. We'd like people to be able to practice with something reusable, like we do with epipen trainers. I can get my hands on expired narcan but those are single use
Fathers day is hard. CARRY NARCAN. My dad died unexpectedly/accidentally on October 7th 2013. I was 16. It feels like a part of me will always be 16. I didn't get enough time w him. He lived a state above me so we didnt see each other much
What “narcan” means
WikipediaNaloxone, sold under the brand name Narcan among others, is an opioid antagonist, a medication used to reverse or reduce the effects of opioids. Naloxone is commonly used to restore breathing after an opioid overdose. Effects begin within two minutes when given intravenously, five minutes when injected into a muscle, and ten minutes as a nasal spray. Naloxone has also been said to have an onset of action of 3–7 minutes as an intranasal. Naloxone blocks the effects of opioids for 30 to 90 minutes
