Another nerikomi experiment, this time a lil snek. I colored the porcelain myself -- the yellow is a Mason stain. The green is that same yellow with a touch of cobalt oxide. I'm not sure where the dark spots came from but I'm guessing they'

What “nerikomi” means
WikipediaNerikomi is a Japanese pottery term describing the artistic technique where multiple colors of clay are marbled or combined to create various designs. The technique can also be called neriage (練上げ), although this more commonly refers to throwing multiple colors of clay on a wheel.
