Aaaand now I got the SD2IDE working. I could install MS-DOS to it. But the system won't boot from the HDD. Same error as with the mechanical Conner drive. And now with the new cable, I have coil whine when the system is under little load 😭

Wow, okay. Turns out I'm just too stupid :D The internal floppy drive does work, I just had to use a later DOS version (6.22 in this case), and it just straight boots. The hard disk is borked and I still haven't figured out how to use the G
