What “rajarhat” means
WikipediaRajarhat is a neighbourhood in Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation of North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Rajarhat was conceptualised in the 1990s, designed and developed in the 2000s and 2010s by the state government of West Bengal, and came to become a major IT hub through the 2010s.
