Fixed hinges! This is a rare beastie. A #Psion Series 3a 1MB (so 2nd gen), with a 1st gen 3a screen. It has what looks like a prototype PCB with a blue-ish tinge. EPOC16 is stored in flash rather than ROM, so it's theoretically upgradeable.
