This week I read "Daughter of the Empire" by Raymond E Feist and Janny Wurts. It's a political fantasy from 1987. Overall, I found it surprisingly good. Surprisingly because I really didn't like Feist's "Magician" - I found it trope ridden

Oh gods, another #Riftwar Cycle book from Feist. I was very unhappy when he tied his Firemane #books into the Riftwar mythos. They weren't great book, just fine. But there was at least some interesting politics and worldbuilding in there. T
