What “rodu” means
WikipediaIn the pre-Christian belief of East and South Slavs, Rod ("Kin") is a personification of the family, ancestors and fate, and an alleged deity. Among Southern Slavs, he is also known as Sud ("Judgement"). He is usually mentioned together with Rozhanitsy, three fairies or sisters who influence events such as childbirth.
