What “scappaticci” means
WikipediaFreddie Scappaticci, later known as Frank Cowley, was a member of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) and its Internal Security Unit (ISU). He was widely identified in media reports and by former intelligence personnel as Stakeknife, a British Army Force Research Unit agent inside the IRA. Scappaticci denied that he had been an agent or that he was Stakeknife.
