What “triakis” means
WikipediaTriakis is a genus of houndsharks in the family Triakidae. The name comes from the Ancient Greek word τρι- meaning 'three', and the Latin word acis meaning 'sharp' or 'pointed', in reference to their three-pointed teeth.
