What “uzbeks” means
WikipediaUzbeks are a Turkic ethnic group native to Central Asia, and the largest Turkic ethnic group in the region. They comprise the majority population of Uzbekistan, alongside minorities of Tajiks and Karakalpaks, and also form minority groups in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Russia, and China.
