Fueled by their unwavering passion and dedication, the couple, along with their son, left Cuba in 1973 and arrived in Miami, ready to share their culinary heritage with a new audience. In 1979, they officially opened the doors of El Rey De Las Fritas, an establishment that would soon become synonymous with authentic Cuban flavors in Miami. El Rey De Las Fritas expanded its footprint across Miami, including vibrant neighborhoods like Hialeah, Bird Road, and Flagler.
