While I waited for my food, I got a little geography and history lesson on Guyana and a sample of their dal, which was delicious. I got two bakes, one salted fish and one Chana aloo. The scrambled egg and salted cod is not a flavor combo I would normally go for but I’ve been trying to branch out and try new foods and present me is very happy that past me decided to try new things. They were VERY filling, it’ll last me at least another meal or two. Their other menu items look really good and I can’t wait to try them. I thought to myself at one point, “This is the place I would come if I was feeling sad because then I would have good food and also someone would be nice to me.” ”This is my favorite food cart hands down. I always get both bakes - curry and egg-based. The spicy sauce is so good with it. The owner is really funny and nice. He passes out samples. I've also had the noodle dish, which is phenomenal as well. This cart has really unique flavors and it is nice in a sea of the same foods. Great job!" “
