When you walk through our doors, you become part of our family, After over 13 years in business we’ve formed strong bonds with our community, the people who work behind the counter, and those who sit at our tables. Our little restaurant on Beacon Hill started as an idea back in 2004. After several months of traveling around Italy followed by two years in Washington DC running Obelisk restaurant, and making dough at 2Amys, we returned to our beloved Pacific Northwest and started raising funds, finding investors, and looking for a location in our neighborhood (no small feat). Several backyard fundraising parties later, and with a space secured, we spent six months building it out with the help of family, friends, neighbors and adventurous strangers. We opened our doors on July 15th, 2011. Since that time so many remarkable folks have walked through our doors, from our dedicated staff, friendly neighbors, lots of friends, plenty of family, and even the occasional local
