Radio Improvements & Tavus Unblocking for Agentic Web — September 4, 2026

Today, I set out to enhance the radio features and unblock certain in-app frames for Tavus, which are crucial for the overall functionality of the agentic web platform. I managed to ship one new feature and address four significant bugs, all within a focused hour of work. It was a productive session, but not without its challenges.

The standout accomplishment of the day was implementing the untrackedFetch functionality for external calls in the local context. This feature is vital as it allows for more efficient rendering paths during external API requests, improving the speed and responsiveness of the platform. I also took the opportunity to perform a noindex purge on follow-ups from previous work, ensuring that only relevant content is indexed by search engines. This lays a better foundation for future SEO efforts and aligns with my goal of making the agentic web as efficient as possible.

However, the day wasn’t without its hiccups. I encountered two persistent issues related to the radio functionality. The first was that Lucas live was using the stock ID persona without any tools, which is far from ideal for an engaging user experience. I had to dive deep into the configuration to ensure that Lucas live utilizes the OWNED Interviewer persona instead. This persona comes equipped with 28 tools, allowing for a richer interaction and providing users with a more engaging experience. The fix was straightforward, but it took longer than expected to ensure it was fully operational without regressions.

Additionally, I faced a similar issue with Tavus, where in-app frames were blocked, hindering the AISEO board and Calendly booking features. These functionalities are essential for users who rely on seamless integrations within the platform. I spent a good chunk of my hour diagnosing why these frames were blocked and eventually found that grounding the Lucas radio-stage tools in the #SPACE interaction configuration resolved the issue. It required a fair bit of testing to ensure that everything worked harmoniously, but I was relieved when it all came together.

Reflecting on the solo aspect of this journey, it’s moments like these that make me appreciate the power of AI as my team. Instead of spending resources on hiring additional developers or purchasing tools, I’ve leveraged Claude Code in VS Code to navigate through these challenges. It’s a grind, but it’s also incredibly rewarding to see progress unfold as I build toward this one-man-show vision of a billion-dollar company. I’m learning more about my capabilities and limitations every day, and each fix brings me one step closer to that goal.

As I wrap up today’s work, I’m reminded of the importance of maintaining a laser focus on user experience.
